Vivien Gay T. Gammad

Ms. Gammad is currently a Senior Associate of the Firm. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree at the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2015 and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of the Philippines – Diliman in 2011.

From her admission to the bar in 2016, Ms. Gammad started as a Junior Associate in MOST Law and later joined Puno and Puno Law Offices. While she initially handled civil and criminal litigation matters, she redirected her legal practice to focus on tax, corporate, and commercial law where she found her niche. Bearing her continuing experience in litigation, Ms. Gammad became part of projects involving general tax advisory, tax assessments, tax litigation, corporate restructuring, and mergers and acquisition, representing both local and foreign clients.

Ms. Gammad is experienced in handling matters of critical importance for clients. She was part of the legal teams which (i) prepared an Expert Opinion in a case submitted for international commercial arbitration; (ii) obtained a preliminary injunction for a major power generation company enjoining the enforcement of notices of realty tax delinquency and warrants of levy for the collection of realty taxes; and (iii) acted as counsel for the issuer real estate developer in a 3 Billion PHP public bond issuance.

Ms. Gammad aspires to contribute to her country’s development by forging business deals that can have a robust multiplier effect on the economy. When the world eases up from the pandemic, she hopes to continue wandering in many places and experience other cultures.
