Mikaela V. Bernardino

Ms. Bernardino graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (cum laude) from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law. While in law school, she was a Research Assistant for the UP Institute of International Legal Studies and served as Commercial Law Subject Head for the Bar Operations Commission. She was also part of the team that emerged as the World Champion of the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition in 2018, the most prestigious international environmental law moot court competition in the world. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.

Ms. Bernardino is currently rotating through the firm’s various practice areas. She started as an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial Law Department of a reputable firm, and previously served as the Deputy Director and Legal Specialist for an Asia-based international consultancy focused on environmental laws and policies.

In her free time, Ms. Bernardino enjoys trying different cuisines, watching documentaries, and playing with her dogs.
