Mr. Fanila graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Major in Philosophy, cum laude from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 2019.
Mr. Fanila obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of the Philippines, College of Law in 2023 where he earned a dean's medal for academic excellence. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in the same year. During his time in law school, he dabbled in extracurriculars, including working part-time for the Office of the Assistant Dean as a research assistant as well as engaging in a summer internship for a tech specializing law firm.
Currently, Mr. Fanila is rotating through the firm’s various practice areas including its corporate, commercial, competition, and energy law matters.
Outside of work, Mr. Fanila tries his best to maintain a well-rounded lifestyle. He enjoys a mix of reading, particularly science fiction and classic literature, and staying active through sports and regular workouts. He also has recently discovered a love for Korean dramas which he juggles with his attempts to work through his backlog of games, literature and films.
