Datu Amir E. Wagas

Mr. Wagas graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management, Major in Legal Management from the Ateneo de Manila University. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree (Litigation and Dispute Resolution Track) from Ateneo Law School in 2022. While in law school, he served as a resident intern at the Ateneo Human Rights Center, heading its Indigenous People’s Rights Desk. He was also a student associate at the Ateneo Legal Services Center, a member of the Ateneo Law Debate & Advocacy Society, and the student head for Administrative Law and Law on Public Officers in the 2019 Ateneo Central Bar Operations. He also worked as a paralegal at De Leon Arevalo & Gonzales Law Offices. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023.
Currently, Mr. Wagas is involved in the firm’s litigation, labor, immigration, environmental law, energy law, and corporate & commercial law matters.
Outside the firm, Mr. Wagas loves training in full-contact karate, kickboxing, jiu jitsu, and freestyle wrestling. He also loves reading classic literature, watching historical documentaries, and playing strategy-based video games.
